Carolina Gold Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sauce Mix

01 - ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper (feel free to use more if you want some kick)
02 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
03 - 2 teaspoons garlic powder
04 - 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
05 - 2 teaspoons kosher salt
06 - 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
07 - ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
08 - ⅓ cup honey
09 - ½ cup brown sugar (you can swap in a brown/golden allulose or other sub if you want)
10 - ¾ cup regular yellow mustard

# Instructions:

01 - Put it in a sealed container and stash it in the fridge for about a week if you want it to last.
02 - Take it off the heat and give it some time to cool down.
03 - Toss everything into a saucepan and put it on medium. Stir things together until the brown sugar vanishes into the mix—should take roughly five minutes.

# Notes:

01 - This is a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce from South Carolina, and it starts with mustard.
02 - Dial up or take down the cayenne for more or less heat—it’s easy to tweak.
03 - Goes really well on chicken, pulled pork, or even as something to dip your fries in.
