Unroll crescent dough onto a clean, lightly floured surface. Pinch seams together to form a single rectangle and roll to achieve uniform thickness. Cut dough into 24 equal squares.

Combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, crab meat, green onions, cayenne pepper, and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir until thoroughly blended.

Spoon equal portions of the crab filling onto the centre of each dough square. Overlap opposite corners and pinch gently to seal.
