Crab and Cream Cheese Crescents (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 can (approx. 226 g) ready-to-bake crescent roll dough

→ Filling

02 - 170 g cream cheese, softened
03 - 60 ml mayonnaise
04 - 120 g cooked crab meat or imitation crab
05 - 2 green onions, finely chopped
06 - 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
07 - 0.125 teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Line a baking sheet or baking stone with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll crescent dough onto a clean, lightly floured surface. Pinch seams together to form a single rectangle and roll to achieve uniform thickness. Cut dough into 24 equal squares.
03 - Combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, crab meat, green onions, cayenne pepper, and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir until thoroughly blended.
04 - Spoon equal portions of the crab filling onto the centre of each dough square. Overlap opposite corners and pinch gently to seal.
05 - Arrange filled crescents on prepared baking sheet. Bake at 190°C for 10–15 minutes, or until pastry is golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - To lighten the dish, substitute low-fat cream cheese and mayonnaise. Avoid overfilling to prevent leakage during baking.
02 - Dust the rolling pin lightly with flour to prevent dough from sticking.
