Crispy Air-Fried Potato Dumplings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb gnocchi (shelf-stable, refrigerated, or frozen - regular, cauliflower, or sweet potato)
02 - 1 - 2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
03 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
04 - ½ teaspoon salt
05 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
06 - 2 - 3 tablespoon freshly grated parmesan

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your air fryer to 390°F and lightly grease the basket with olive oil spray.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, toss the gnocchi with the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and parmesan cheese. If using frozen gnocchi, DO NOT thaw it before seasoning.
03 - Add the seasoned gnocchi to the preheated air fryer basket. Try to arrange them in a single layer with minimal overlapping for maximum crispiness.
04 - For shelf-stable or refrigerated gnocchi: Air fry at 390°F for 11-14 minutes, shaking the basket every 4-5 minutes to ensure even cooking. The gnocchi is done when the outsides are golden (not burned) and crispy.
05 - For frozen gnocchi: Air fry at 390°F for 13-16 minutes, shaking the basket every 4-5 minutes. Frozen gnocchi takes a little bit longer to air fry, but should still be done when the outsides are golden and crispy.
06 - Enjoy immediately. Garnish with extra parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired. Serve as a side dish, as an appetizer with marinara sauce or pesto for dipping, or add as a 'crouton' on your favorite salad.

# Notes:

01 - You can use homemade gnocchi for this recipe, including homemade sweet potato gnocchi.
02 - To make this recipe vegan, omit the parmesan cheese and substitute it with nutritional yeast.
03 - Air fryer gnocchi is best enjoyed immediately for maximum crispiness. If you need to store leftovers, add them to an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
04 - For best results when reheating, air fry the gnocchi at 350°F for 4-6 minutes until warm and crispy again.
