Effortless Steak Pasta Asparagus Bacon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1/3 cup Parmigiano Reggiano, shredded
02 - 1/2 cup bacon, cooked and chopped
03 - 15 to 18 asparagus spears, ends removed
04 - 8 ounces short pasta, like lumaconi or fusilli
05 - 1 cup steak, cooked, sliced thin and then cut into bite-sized chunks

→ Dressing

06 - 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
07 - 1/4 cup sour cream
08 - 1/4 cup mayo

→ Seasoning (optional)

09 - Fresh black pepper for finishing
10 - 2 teaspoons Montreal Steak Seasoning or whatever steak spice you like if your steak needs more flavor

# Instructions:

01 - Give it a sprinkle of black pepper and dig in right away for the best crunch and taste.
02 - Grab a big bowl. Toss in your cold pasta and creamy dressing. Add the cheese, bacon, steak bits, and asparagus. Stir well so every bite's loaded.
03 - Mix sour cream, mayo, and apple cider vinegar in a medium bowl until it looks smooth. Add steak spice or your go-to blend now if you're using any.
04 - Chop asparagus into pieces about an inch or so long. Steam them for 3–5 minutes until they're bright green but still a little crisp. Spread them out and let them cool completely.
05 - Boil pasta in salty water using instructions on the package until it's just firm to the bite. Drain well, rinse under cold water to cool fast, then let it sit and dry off a little.

# Notes:

01 - If you want to make this ahead, just leave the dressing off and toss it in when you're ready to eat. Keeps everything fresh.
02 - Want extra flavor? Try using some smoked filet mignon for your steak pieces.
03 - If it's a bit dry after sitting in the fridge, stir in a spoonful more sour cream and it'll be good as new.
