Bang Bang Chicken Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken and Rice

01 - 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
02 - 1 cup cooked rice (white, brown, or cauliflower)
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
04 - Salt, to taste
05 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Vegetables

06 - 1 cup mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots)

→ Bang Bang Sauce

07 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
08 - 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon honey
10 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
11 - 1 teaspoon lime juice

# Instructions:

01 - Cook rice according to package instructions, using a rice cooker or stovetop method. Set aside and keep warm.
02 - Dice chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Season all sides with salt and black pepper for balanced flavor.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sauté for 6–8 minutes until golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Stir occasionally for even cooking.
04 - In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, garlic powder, and lime juice. Whisk until smooth. Adjust sriracha or honey to achieve desired spice and sweetness levels.
05 - Add mixed vegetables to the skillet and sauté with the chicken for 2–3 minutes until just tender but still crisp.
06 - Remove skillet from heat. Pour Bang Bang sauce over chicken and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly. Serve over prepared rice. Garnish with extra sriracha or chopped green onions if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Use a meat thermometer to confirm chicken is cooked through at 165°F for food safety.
02 - Avoid overcooking vegetables to maintain crisp texture and nutrition.
03 - Adjust sriracha in the sauce for preferred spice level.
04 - Substitute cauliflower rice for a lower-carbohydrate alternative.
05 - Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds for added flavor and color.
