Spicy Marinated Cucumber Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 cucumbers
02 - 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
03 - 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
04 - Salt and pepper to taste
05 - Chile powder to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the cucumbers into your preferred thickness - thin rounds work well for quick marinating, while slightly thicker slices provide more crunch.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together the fresh lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, and chile powder according to your taste preferences.
03 - Place the sliced cucumbers in a shallow dish or bowl and pour the dressing over them. Gently toss to ensure all the cucumber slices are coated with the marinade.
04 - Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, allowing the cucumbers to absorb all the flavors. For best results, stir or toss occasionally to redistribute the marinade.
05 - When ready to serve, give the cucumbers a final toss in the marinade and transfer to a serving dish. The marinated cucumbers make a perfect refreshing side for grilled meats or spicy dishes.

# Notes:

01 - These cucumbers are even better the next day after marinating overnight.
02 - Try adding fresh herbs like cilantro, mint, or dill for extra flavor.
03 - For a touch of sweetness, add a pinch of sugar to the dressing.
