In a small saucepan, combine granulated sugar with 240 ml of water. Heat over medium, stirring continuously, until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.

In a large pitcher, pour in fresh lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, blue raspberry syrup, and 960 ml of cold water. Stir thoroughly to blend.

If desired, add a few drops of blue food colouring, mixing until the colour reaches your preferred intensity.

Taste the drink and adjust sweetness or dilution by adding more sugar or water, if necessary.

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes to ensure proper chilling.

Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the lemonade over, and garnish with fresh raspberries and lemon slices before serving.
