Easy Baked Cake Donuts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Donuts

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
02 - ¾ cup sugar
03 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
04 - ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 2 eggs
07 - ¾ cup buttermilk
08 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

→ Chocolate Glaze

09 - 1½ cups confectioners' sugar
10 - 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
11 - 2 tablespoons milk
12 - 2 teaspoons vanilla

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Spray donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.
02 - Sift dry ingredients together. Add buttermilk, eggs and butter. Beat until just combined.
03 - Fill each donut cavity ⅔ full, being careful not to overfill.
04 - Bake 7-9 minutes until tops spring back when pressed. Cool in pan 4-5 minutes before removing.
05 - Sift sugar and cocoa. Beat in milk and vanilla until smooth and pourable.
06 - Dip one side of each donut in glaze. Place on parchment paper to set.

02 - Add more milk to thin glaze if needed
03 - Don't overfill pan cavities
