Cheesecake Stuffed Churro Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
02 - ½ teaspoon baking powder.
03 - ¼ teaspoon baking soda.
04 - ¼ teaspoon salt.
05 - ½ cup unsalted butter, softened.
06 - ½ cup granulated sugar.
07 - 1 large egg.
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
09 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened.
10 - ¼ cup powdered sugar.
11 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
12 - ¼ cup sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating).
13 - ¼ cup melted butter (for coating).

# Instructions:

01 - Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla and lemon juice until smooth. Chill.
02 - Whisk dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar, add egg and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients.
03 - Flatten dough portions, add filling, wrap dough around filling to form balls.
04 - Roll balls in melted butter then cinnamon-sugar mixture.
05 - Place on lined sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes until edges golden.

# Notes:

01 - Let cool 5 minutes on sheet.
02 - Can serve warm or room temperature.
