                Preheat oven to 200°C. Prepare a large baking sheet by lining with parchment paper or lightly greasing.

                Wash baby potatoes and cut into halves or quarters for even roasting. Slice smoked sausage into 6 mm rounds.

                In a small bowl, combine ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

                Place potatoes in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with half the seasoning mixture. Toss thoroughly to coat each piece.

                Spread seasoned potatoes evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Distribute sliced sausage over the potatoes.

                Roast in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, turning the mixture halfway, until potatoes are golden brown and tender.

                Remove baking sheet from oven. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over potatoes and sausage. Return to oven for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

                Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. Offer sour cream on the side if desired.
