Chicken and Orzo (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups chicken broth.
02 - 1 cup half and half.
03 - 1/2 chicken bouillon cube.
04 - 1 teaspoon hot sauce.
05 - 1 teaspoon mustard powder.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon each: onion powder, garlic powder, parsley.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon paprika.
08 - 1-2 tablespoons olive oil.
09 - 1 pound chicken breast.
10 - 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning.
11 - 3 cups broccoli florets.
12 - 1/3 cup white wine.
13 - 3 cloves garlic, minced.
14 - 3 tablespoons each: butter, flour.
15 - 3/4 pound orzo.
16 - 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese.
17 - 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine broth, half and half, bouillon, and seasonings in measuring cup.
02 - Tenderize chicken, cut into strips, season and cook in olive oil until golden.
03 - Cook wine until reduced, add butter, garlic, then flour to make roux.
04 - Gradually add sauce mixture, bring to boil then simmer.
05 - Boil orzo, add broccoli last 3 minutes, drain.
06 - Add cheese to sauce, combine with pasta and broccoli, then add chicken.

# Notes:

01 - Use 3/4 pound orzo for best sauce ratio.
02 - Shred cheese fresh for best melting.
03 - Can substitute broth for wine.
