Chicken Bacon Crunch Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or cubed
02 - 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
03 - 1 cup sour cream
04 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
05 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
06 - 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
09 - Salt and pepper to taste
10 - 2 cups crushed Ritz crackers or cornflakes
11 - 3 tablespoons melted butter
12 - Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13" casserole dish.
02 - In a large bowl, combine chicken, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, and both cheeses. Fold in crumbled bacon, saving a little for topping if desired. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
03 - Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared dish. In a small bowl, mix crushed crackers (or cornflakes) with melted butter. Sprinkle the buttery crunch topping evenly over the casserole.
04 - Bake for 25–30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.

02 - Swap sour cream for Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
03 - Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
