Chicken with Buttered Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 450 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
02 - 225 g egg noodles or preferred pasta

→ Seasonings and Sauces

03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
04 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
08 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning or a blend of dried basil and parsley

09 - 30 g grated Parmesan cheese
10 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain thoroughly and reserve.
02 - Season chicken pieces with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Transfer chicken to a plate and reserve.
03 - In the same skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning; sauté for 1–2 minutes until aromatic.
04 - Return drained noodles to the skillet with the garlic-herb butter. Add remaining 1 tablespoon butter and toss noodles to evenly coat in the sauce. Stir in the cooked chicken and combine thoroughly.
05 - Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately while hot.
