Effortless Chicken Asparagus Caesar (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1 pound trimmed asparagus spears
02 - 1 cup Caesar dressing (buy or whip up your own)
03 - 4 boneless chicken breasts, skin removed
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - Black pepper as much as you want
06 - Salt, to your liking
07 - Lemon slices for sprucing up at the end
08 - Half a cup of Parmesan, grated
09 - A teaspoon garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - Pull your skillet out of the oven and toss on some lemon wedges. Go ahead and serve it right away, and if you're feeling it, squeeze a little lemon juice on top for a zippy touch.
02 - Carefully slide the skillet into your oven and let it bake for 20 minutes. When the temp in the chicken hits 165°F (74°C) and the asparagus gets soft, you're set.
03 - Toss the asparagus all around the chicken, then dust Parmesan over everything. Sprinkle garlic powder onto the veggies to pump up the flavor.
04 - Take the skillet off the burner. Slather your chicken with Caesar dressing so every piece is totally covered.
05 - Crank the heat to medium-high and pour in your olive oil. Drop in those chicken breasts and brown them up—about 3 or 4 minutes for each side should do it.
06 - Switch your oven on to 375°F (190°C). Pat your chicken dry. Sprinkle salt and plenty of black pepper over both sides.

# Notes:

01 - Try wrapping the asparagus in bacon for more punch and crunch.
02 - Using light or homemade Caesar helps you keep an eye on the nutrition.
03 - Not into asparagus? Use broccoli or green beans instead.
04 - Boost the crunch—just toss in croutons right before it's done baking.
05 - Slice up some cherry tomatoes and scatter them in for a burst of color and a little sweetness.
