# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - Large drizzle of olive oil
02 - 8 ounces chicken sausage with spinach and asiago, sliced 0.6–1.3 cm thick
03 - 2 to 3 cups broccoli, roughly chopped
04 - Kosher salt, to taste
05 - Ground black pepper, to taste
06 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic
07 - 1 cup orzo pasta
08 - 2 cups organic chicken bone broth
09 - 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high and add a generous drizzle of olive oil. When hot, add sausage slices in an even layer and cook for 2–3 minutes. Flip and continue for 1 minute until both sides are golden.
02 - Add the chopped broccoli to the skillet. Season with a large pinch of kosher salt and ground black pepper. Sauté for 5 minutes until broccoli is bright green and just tender.
03 - Add minced garlic and dry orzo to the pan. Stir well and cook for 1 minute.
04 - Pour in the chicken bone broth. Stir, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 10–15 minutes, until orzo is tender and liquid has been absorbed.
05 - Stir in shredded parmesan cheese until melted and evenly incorporated. Serve immediately, garnishing with extra parmesan if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For vibrant color and best texture, avoid overcooking the broccoli; add it once the sausage is well browned.
