Quick Chicken Lo Mein (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 8 oz spaghetti
02 - 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
03 - 2 tbsp vegetable oil
04 - 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced

→ Sauce

06 - ¼ cup soy sauce
07 - 2 tbsp oyster sauce
08 - 2 tsp sesame oil
09 - 1 tsp sugar
10 - ½ tsp ground ginger
11 - ½ cup chicken broth
12 - 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tsp water
13 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Garnish

14 - 2 green onions, sliced

# Instructions:

01 - Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
02 - Heat 1 tbsp oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5-6 minutes until golden. Remove and set aside.
03 - Add remaining oil to skillet. Sauté garlic 30 seconds, then add vegetables and stir-fry 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
04 - Return chicken to skillet. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, ginger, and broth. Simmer 2 minutes.
05 - Stir in cornstarch mixture until sauce thickens. Add spaghetti and toss until combined. Garnish with green onions.

02 - Can substitute protein with tofu or shrimp
