Cookie Chocolate Bark (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 167g all-purpose flour.
02 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
04 - 170g unsalted butter, melted and cooled.
05 - 133g granulated sugar.
06 - 50g light brown sugar.
07 - 1 large egg yolk.
08 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
09 - 90g mini chocolate chips.
10 - 226g semi-sweet chocolate, chopped.
11 - Flaky sea salt or sprinkles for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 375°F. Line 12x17 inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in large bowl.
03 - Combine melted butter, sugars, egg yolk, and vanilla. Pour into dry ingredients and mix well.
04 - Add chocolate chips, then press dough evenly into pan, covering entire surface.
05 - Bake 18-20 minutes until deep golden brown.
06 - Sprinkle chopped chocolate over hot cookie. Return to oven 1-2 minutes to melt.
07 - Spread melted chocolate evenly, add toppings if using. Cool 20 minutes, then chill 30 minutes.

02 - Keeps fresh 5 days at room temperature.
03 - Use baking chocolate, not chips, for topping.
