Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.

Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.

Beat canola oil, softened butter, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes). Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract.

Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture in three parts, alternating with buttermilk. Begin and end with dry ingredients.

Take ¾ cup of batter and mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, and molasses in a separate bowl.

Pour half plain batter in pan, add half cinnamon mixture in dollops and swirl. Repeat with remaining batters.

Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.

Melt butter in one dish. Mix sugars and cinnamon in another. Dip cooled bread in butter, then coat with sugar mixture.
