# Ingredients:

01 - 1.5 lbs chicken tenders
02 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
04 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 tablespoon dried oregano
06 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
07 - 1 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
09 - Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
02 - Place chicken tenders in a shallow dish or ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Make sure all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours for better flavor.
03 - Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a thin layer of oil.
04 - Remove chicken from marinade and cook for 5-7 minutes per side without disturbing, until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
05 - Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve hot with lemon wedges if desired.

01 - For a healthier option, boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs can be used instead of tenders.
02 - If fresh lemons aren't available, bottled lemon juice works fine, though fresh provides better flavor.

04 - Italian seasoning can replace the oregano and thyme if needed.
