Crock Pot Shredded Beef Tacos (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 5 pound cross rib or sirloin tip roast.
02 - 1 yellow onion, sliced or diced.
03 - 4 ounces chopped green chilies.
04 - 1/2 cup beef broth.
05 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.
06 - 2 teaspoons salt.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon cumin.

# Instructions:

01 - Place roast in slow cooker.
02 - Layer sliced onions on top of meat.
03 - Add chilies, broth, and all seasonings.
04 - Cover and cook on high 4-5 hours or low 6-8 hours.
05 - Shred meat with two forks when tender.
06 - Reserve cooking juices for storage or serving.
