Texas Roadhouse Smothered Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
03 - 120 g shredded jack cheese

→ Sauce & Seasoning

04 - 120 ml heavy cream
05 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
06 - 120 ml low-sodium chicken broth
07 - 1 teaspoon paprika
08 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C and lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick spray.
02 - Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper, then sear until golden, approximately 5–6 minutes per side.
03 - Add minced garlic and paprika to the skillet. Stir continuously for 1 minute until fragrant.
04 - Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer gently, stirring to release any browned bits from the skillet.
05 - Transfer seared chicken breasts and sauce to the prepared baking dish. Generously sprinkle shredded jack cheese over each piece. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly.
06 - Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before plating to enhance flavor and moisture.

# Notes:

01 - Resting the chicken before serving locks in juiciness and deepens flavor.
