                Add 2 cups of the crushed Oreo cookies to a small mixing bowl. Pour melted and cooled butter over the crushed cookies. Stir to coat the crumbs completely. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Place in the refrigerator to chill while preparing the filling.

                Add softened cream cheese to a medium mixing bowl. Mix with a handheld mixer on medium speed until smooth (1.5-2 minutes). Add the powdered sugar and continue mixing until smooth for another 2 minutes.

                In another medium-sized mixing bowl, add cold milk and sprinkle the pudding mix over it. Mix using a whisk or handheld mixer on low speed until thickened. Stir in 1 cup of crushed Oreo crumbs until evenly distributed.

                Gently fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture using a silicone spatula to maintain a light texture. Then, fold in the cream cheese mixture into the pudding mixture.

                Spread the combined pudding filling evenly into the chilled Oreo crust. Smooth the surface with a spatula. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of crushed Oreo crumbs over the top of the pie.

                Cover the pie and chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Before serving, cut the pie into 8 slices and top each slice with 2-3 gummy worms.
