Crunchy Chicken Tex-Mex Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups cavatappi noodles
02 - 1/2 cup mayo
03 - 1/2 cup ranch dressing
04 - 1 cup medium chunky salsa
05 - 1 tsp salt
06 - 1 tsp pepper
07 - 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
08 - 1 bunch green onions, chopped
09 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
10 - 3 cups crumbled Doritos

# Instructions:

01 - Cook cavatappi noodles according to the directions on the package.
02 - Drain the pasta and rinse with cold water. Gently dab the cooled pasta noodles with paper towel to soak up any remaining water.
03 - Dump the cooled noodles into a large mixing bowl. Add the mayo, ranch dressing, salsa, salt and pepper to the bowl. Stir until all of the noodles are coated in dressing.
04 - Add the shredded chicken, chopped green onions and shredded cheese to the bowl. Stir well to combine all ingredients evenly.
05 - Add the crumbled Doritos to the bowl and stir just until they are mixed into the salad. Serve immediately, before the Doritos get soggy.

# Notes:

01 - This pasta salad is best served immediately after adding the Doritos to maintain their crunch.
02 - If you need to prepare ahead, mix all ingredients except the Doritos and add them just before serving.
03 - You can use any flavor of Doritos according to your preference - Nacho Cheese, Cool Ranch, or Spicy varieties all work well.
04 - For a lighter version, you can substitute Greek yogurt for some or all of the mayo.
