Effortless Sausage Sweet Potatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 2 cups broccoli, chopped into bite-sized florets
02 - 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced in small cubes
03 - 14 ounces chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into thick coins

→ Sauce

04 - Black pepper, as much as you like
05 - Salt, as much as you like
06 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
07 - 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
08 - 1/4 cup honey
09 - 4 cloves garlic, chopped up
10 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

→ Finishing

11 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Sprinkle on the chopped parsley and dig in while it's hot. Pull the pan from the oven and get it on the table right away.
02 - Slide that pan into your hot oven. Let everything cook, giving it all a good stir halfway, until the sausage is ready and those sweet potatoes go soft. This should take about 25–30 minutes.
03 - Dump the warm garlic sauce over your pan of sausage, broccoli, and sweet potato. Toss everything together to make sure it all gets coated.
04 - Let the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, plus a pinch of salt and pepper bubble in your saucepan for a few minutes. Give it a good stir so it all blends. Leave it to simmer for about 2–3 minutes.
05 - Pop your butter into a little pan over medium and let it melt. Add minced garlic and cook till you smell it—should take just a minute or so.
06 - Toss your sliced sausage, diced sweet potatoes, and broccoli onto a sheet pan. Spread 'em out so they're not piled up.
07 - Turn your oven on to 400°F (200°C) so it's already good and hot when you start cooking.

# Notes:

02 - Feel free to grab any kind of sausage you love—even pork or Italian are great swaps.
03 - Need more? Just double all the ingredients and you’re set for a crowd.
