Preheat oven to 220°C.

Spread uncooked long grain rice evenly into an 20 x 20 cm baking dish.

Pour beef broth and French onion soup evenly over the rice.

Slice butter into even pats and arrange them across the surface of the rice and soup mixture.

Cover dish with aluminium foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the cooked rice and serve warm.
