Garlic Butter Chicken Orzo (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided.
02 - 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs.
03 - 1 pound uncooked orzo.
04 - 4 garlic cloves, minced.
05 - 32 ounces chicken stock.
06 - Fresh parsley, chopped.
07 - Parmesan cheese for topping.
08 - Kosher salt and pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper. Heat 3 tablespoons butter in large skillet over medium heat.
02 - Cook chicken 3-4 minutes per side until golden. Remove to plate.
03 - Add orzo to pan with remaining fat. Add garlic and cook until orzo is golden and fragrant.
04 - Add stock and return chicken to pan. Bring to boil, reduce to simmer, cover and cook 15-20 minutes until liquid absorbs.
05 - Drizzle with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Top with parsley and parmesan.

01 - Check chicken temperature reaches 165°F.
02 - Start checking doneness at 12-15 minutes.
