Golden Seared Cod with Herb Butter Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cod fillets (6 oz each).
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
03 - Salt to taste.
04 - Black pepper to taste.
05 - 4 ounces unsalted butter.
06 - 1 clove garlic, minced.
07 - 1/2 lemon, juiced.
08 - 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped.
09 - 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped.
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped.

# Instructions:

01 - Pat cod fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
02 - Cook in olive oil 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
03 - Remove fish, add butter and garlic to pan, cook 30 seconds.
04 - Add herbs and lemon juice to melted butter mixture.
05 - Return cod to pan, spoon sauce over, warm 1-2 minutes.
