Best Grilled Cheese Burrito (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Beef Filling

01 - 450 g ground beef
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 medium onion, diced
04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
06 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
07 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
08 - 120 ml tomato sauce

→ Assembly

09 - 4 large flour tortillas
10 - 3 tablespoons spicy mayonnaise
11 - 240 g cooked fried rice
12 - 240 ml nacho cheese sauce
13 - 240 ml sour cream
14 - 60 g tortilla chips, crushed

# Instructions:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté for 5 minutes or until softened and translucent.
02 - Add ground beef to the skillet; cook until thoroughly browned, breaking up any large pieces. Season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and oregano. Stir well to incorporate the spices and allow flavors to bloom for 1 minute.
03 - Pour in tomato sauce, reduce heat, and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes to marry the flavors.
04 - Lay each flour tortilla on a flat surface. Spread approximately 1 tablespoon of spicy mayonnaise down the center. Layer with fried rice, drizzle with nacho cheese sauce, top with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of crushed tortilla chips. Finish with a generous portion of seasoned beef mixture.
05 - Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then roll tightly from the bottom to secure the filling. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Optionally, scatter shredded Mexican cheese blend directly onto the skillet. Place each burrito seam-side down onto the cheese and grill for 2–3 minutes per side, until a crisp, golden cheese crust forms.
06 - Serve burritos immediately while hot, accompanied by extra spicy mayonnaise for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - For maximum crispiness, avoid overfilling the burritos and ensure the seam is securely tucked before grilling.
