Homemade Stromboli (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/3 cups warm water (100-110°F).
02 - 2 1/4 teaspoons instant or active-dry yeast.
03 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar.
04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
05 - 1 teaspoon salt.
06 - 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
07 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted.
08 - 2 garlic cloves, minced.
09 - 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped.
10 - 1 pound sliced deli meats.
11 - 3/4-1 pound cheese.
12 - 1 large egg (for wash).

# Instructions:

01 - Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar, let rest 5 minutes until foamy.
02 - Add oil, salt, and flour, beat 2 minutes then knead 5 minutes until soft.
03 - Place in oiled bowl, cover and let rise 60-90 minutes until doubled.
04 - Divide dough in half, roll each into 10x16 inch rectangle.
05 - Spread with garlic butter, layer meats and cheese leaving borders.
06 - Roll into logs, seal edges with egg wash, cut slits on top.
07 - Cook at 400°F for 25 minutes until golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - Can be frozen before or after baking.
02 - Dough can be made ahead.
03 - Each roll serves 10-12 people.
04 - Center should reach 200°F when done.
