Sweet & Spicy Peach Wings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 lbs. chicken wings
02 - 4 Tbsp. butter
03 - 1 tsp. paprika
04 - 2 tsp. minced garlic
05 - ½ tsp. garlic powder
06 - ½ cup peach preserves
07 - ¼ cup hot sauce
08 - Salt to taste
09 - 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
10 - Oil for frying

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a deep fryer to 350 degrees F.
02 - In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with paprika, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated.
03 - Add the minced garlic and butter to a pot over medium heat, and cook until the butter is completely melted. Stir in the hot sauce, soy sauce, and peach preserves. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens into a syrupy consistency.
04 - Carefully place the seasoned wings into the hot oil and deep fry for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding, which can lower the oil temperature.
05 - Using tongs or a slotted spoon, remove the cooked wings and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
06 - Transfer the drained wings to a large bowl and pour the hot honey peach sauce over them. Toss until all wings are evenly coated with the sticky sauce. Serve immediately while hot.

# Notes:

01 - For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce.
02 - You can substitute chicken drumettes if you prefer more meat.
03 - These wings can also be baked at 425°F for 45-50 minutes if you prefer not to fry.
