Easy Italian Party Food (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough & Base

01 - 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
02 - 4 large eggs, beaten
03 - 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
04 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Meats & Cheeses

05 - 1/4 lb sliced ham
06 - 1/4 lb sliced salami
07 - 1/4 lb sliced pepperoni
08 - 1/4 lb sliced provolone cheese
09 - 1/4 lb sliced mozzarella cheese

→ Vegetables & Toppings

10 - 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, drained and chopped
11 - 1/2 cup sliced banana peppers (optional)
12 - 1/4 cup chopped black olives (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, sealing the seams to form a crust.
03 - Layer the ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, and mozzarella evenly over the dough.
04 - Sprinkle the chopped roasted red peppers, banana peppers, and black olives over the layers of meat and cheese, if using.
05 - Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the top, carefully sealing the seams and pressing to cover the filling.
06 - Brush the beaten eggs evenly over the top layer of dough. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
08 - Allow the Italian sub squares to cool for about 5-10 minutes before slicing into squares.
