# Ingredients:

01 - 1 ½ lbs chicken tenders or sliced chicken breasts
02 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
03 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
06 - ½ teaspoon salt
07 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
08 - ½ cup all-purpose flour
09 - 2 eggs, beaten
10 - 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter, for baking

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. If frying, heat about ½ inch of oil in a pan over medium heat.
02 - Set up three bowls: one with flour mixed with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, and lemon zest.
03 - Dredge each chicken tender in flour, then dip into the egg, and coat evenly with the breadcrumb mixture. Press the coating firmly to ensure it sticks.
04 - Place tenders on the baking sheet, lightly brush with olive oil, and bake for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
05 - Fry tenders for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
06 - Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C), place tenders in a single layer, and air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
07 - Let the tenders cool slightly before serving. Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce.
