Creamy Italian Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

01 - 8 oz dried pasta of choice
02 - 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
03 - ½ cup onion, finely chopped
04 - 3-4 cloves garlic, minced

→ Sauce & Seasonings

05 - 1 cup heavy cream
06 - ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
07 - ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
08 - 1 Tablespoon olive oil
09 - 1 Tablespoon butter
10 - ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
11 - ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
12 - ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
13 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
14 - ½ teaspoon salt
15 - ½ teaspoon pepper

→ Garnish

16 - Fresh basil leaves

# Instructions:

01 - Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
03 - Add butter and chicken, season with Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through.
04 - Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmer until sauce thickens.
05 - Add sun-dried tomatoes and cooked pasta, toss to coat evenly. Garnish with basil leaves and serve immediately.

01 - For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream
