Meat Lovers Pizza Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb lean ground beef
02 - 1 lb pork sausage
03 - 1 cup chopped pepperoni
04 - ¼ cup all-purpose flour
05 - 4 tsp Italian seasoning
06 - 1 (26-oz) jar tomato basil pasta sauce
07 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
08 - 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza crust dough
09 - 1 Tbsp olive oil
10 - 3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425ºF and lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and sausage until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
03 - Add chopped pepperoni, flour, and 3 tsp Italian seasoning to the skillet. Stir to combine.
04 - Stir in tomato basil pasta sauce and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
05 - Spoon meat mixture into prepared baking dish and top with 1½ cups mozzarella cheese.
06 - Unroll pizza dough and carefully lay it over the cheese layer.
07 - Brush the crust with olive oil. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tsp Italian seasoning, ½ cup mozzarella, and Parmesan.
08 - Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and cooked through.
09 - Cool for a few minutes before serving.

01 - Drain meat well to avoid a greasy casserole.
02 - Use pre-shredded cheese for convenience or shred your own for best melt quality.
03 - Prebake crust for 5 minutes on a sheet pan if you like a crispier top.
