One Pot Kielbasa Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 15 ml olive oil
02 - 450 g smoked kielbasa or turkey/chicken sausage, sliced 0.5 cm thick
03 - 225 g diced onion
04 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 480 ml low-sodium chicken broth
06 - 283 g canned diced tomatoes
07 - 225 g small dry pasta
08 - 120 ml milk or heavy cream
09 - 2.5 ml salt
10 - 2.5 ml ground black pepper

→ Finishing Ingredients

11 - 100 g shredded Cheddar cheese
12 - 15 g thinly sliced scallions, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Pour olive oil into a 4–5 litre sauté pan and set over medium-high heat.
02 - Add sliced kielbasa and diced onion, sautéing until the sausage is browned and onions are translucent.
03 - Incorporate the minced garlic, stirring continuously, and cook for approximately 30 seconds until fragrant.
04 - Add chicken broth, diced tomatoes with juice, milk or cream, dry pasta, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
05 - Bring contents to a gentle simmer and cook uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce is slightly thickened.
06 - Remove pan from heat. Stir in half of the shredded Cheddar cheese until evenly melted.
07 - Scatter the remaining cheese over the surface, cover, and let stand until cheese is melted, lightly golden, and bubbly.
08 - Sprinkle with thinly sliced scallions and serve hot.
