Peppermint Kiss Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened.
02 - 1/2 cup sugar, plus extra for rolling.
03 - 3 tablespoons milk.
04 - 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon baking soda.
07 - 1/8 teaspoon salt.
08 - 16 candy cane Hershey's kisses.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
02 - Beat softened butter and sugar until combined, then mix in milk and vanilla.
03 - Mix in flour, baking soda and salt until soft dough forms.
04 - Roll tablespoons of dough into balls, then coat in extra sugar.
05 - Place cookies 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheet.
06 - Cook for 10 minutes until edges are just set and lightly golden.
07 - Let cool 2-3 minutes, then press a candy cane kiss into center of each cookie.
08 - Let cookies cool completely before serving.

01 - No dough chilling required.
02 - Can use any variety of Hershey's kisses.
03 - Store in airtight container at room temperature.
