Easy Homemade Protein Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1½ cups peanut butter or allergy-friendly substitute
02 - ¾ cup (90g) protein powder
03 - ¼ cup pure maple syrup or honey
04 - ½ teaspoon salt

→ Optional Coating

05 - 4 oz chocolate chips, melted
06 - 2 teaspoons oil (for smoother chocolate)

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together peanut butter, protein powder, maple syrup, and salt until a dough forms.
02 - Either shape into bars with hands or press into lined 8x8 pan.
03 - Spread melted chocolate (mixed with oil if desired) over bars in pan, or dip individual bars.
04 - Refrigerate until firm, then cut into bars if using the pan method.
