Easy Sausage Stuffed Crescents (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
02 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

→ Optional Additions

04 - ½ tsp garlic powder
05 - ½ tsp onion powder
06 - ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese

# Instructions:

01 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
02 - Transfer the cooked sausage to a mixing bowl and stir in the softened cream cheese until fully combined. If using, add garlic powder, onion powder, and shredded cheddar cheese.
03 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
04 - Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture (about 1 tbsp) onto the wide end of each crescent triangle. Roll up the triangle from the wide end to the narrow tip, encasing the filling. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and puffed.

# Notes:

01 - For a spicier version, use hot sausage or add red pepper flakes
02 - Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 3 days
03 - Reheat in oven to maintain crispiness
