Snickers Apple Caramel Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 3.4 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
02 - 3/4 cup whole milk
03 - 8 ounces Cool Whip or 1 cup heavy whipping cream, beaten to stiff peaks

→ Fruit

04 - 6 Granny Smith apples, divided, with 1 reserved for garnish

→ Candy

05 - 6 full size Snickers bars, divided, with 1 reserved for garnish

→ Topping

06 - 1/4 cup caramel sauce, optional

# Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, whisk together instant vanilla pudding mix and whole milk until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped topping or whipped cream.
02 - Core and chop five Granny Smith apples into bite-sized pieces, reserving one apple for garnish. If preparing ahead, toss chopped apples with lemon juice or 7-Up to prevent browning and pat dry.
03 - Chop five Snickers bars into bite-sized pieces, reserving one bar for garnish.
04 - Fold the chopped apples and chopped Snickers into the pudding mixture until evenly distributed. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
05 - Immediately before serving, thinly slice or chop the reserved apple and Snickers bar. Arrange them on top of the salad and drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.

# Notes:

01 - If using homemade whipped cream, beat 1 cup heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. You may sweeten and flavor to taste.
02 - To maintain apple freshness, tossing with lemon juice or lemon-lime soda helps prevent browning.
