Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 8 oz pasta (penne or spaghetti)

→ Sauce

05 - ¼ cup honey
06 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
07 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
08 - 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

→ Garnish

09 - ¼ cup chopped parsley
10 - ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
11 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook sausage 5-7 minutes until browned, breaking it up with spoon.
03 - Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
04 - Stir in honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens and becomes sticky.
05 - Add cooked pasta to skillet and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper.
06 - Garnish with chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
