Crimson Sugared Cranberries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup fresh cranberries.
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar, divided.
03 - 1/2 cup water.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat 1/2 cup sugar and water until sugar dissolves completely.
02 - Remove from heat and let cool about 5 minutes.
03 - Add cranberries to syrup, stir to coat, let sit 10 minutes.
04 - Remove with slotted spoon to wire rack, dry 1 hour until tacky.
05 - Roll tacky cranberries in remaining sugar until coated.
06 - Let dry 30 minutes until sugar hardens.

# Notes:

01 - Use firm, fresh cranberries.
02 - Roll few berries at a time.
03 - Keeps 2 days at room temperature.
