Taco Ranch Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ground beef or turkey
02 - 1 packet taco seasoning
03 - 1/2 cup ranch dressing
04 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
05 - 1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips
06 - 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
07 - Salsa for dipping
08 - Sour cream for dipping

# Instructions:

01 - In a skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Once browned, drain any excess fat. Add the taco seasoning to the meat, following the package instructions (usually adding a bit of water). Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes until fully combined and heated through.
02 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with non-stick spray.
03 - In a large bowl, combine the cooked taco meat, ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, and crushed tortilla chips. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
04 - Using your hands or a spoon, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter). Place each ball onto the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Bake the Taco Ranch Bites in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bites are golden brown.
06 - Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve with salsa and sour cream for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - You can make them spicier by adding chopped jalapeños to the mixture or sprinkling some chili powder.
02 - For a healthier option, you can swap the beef for lean ground turkey or chicken.
03 - For extra crunch, toss some additional crushed tortilla chips on top of the bites before baking.
