Tart and Sweet Strawberry Limeade (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Simple Syrup

01 - 120 ml water
02 - 100 g granulated sugar

→ Fruit and Juice

03 - 680 g fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
04 - 360 ml freshly squeezed lime juice

→ Dilution

05 - 1.4 litres cold water

# Instructions:

01 - Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add granulated sugar and stir constantly until completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
02 - In a blender, combine the fresh strawberries, freshly squeezed lime juice, and cooled simple syrup. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth.
03 - Transfer the strawberry mixture to a large pitcher. Add cold water and stir well. Taste and adjust with additional sugar or lime juice if preferred.
04 - Pour the limeade into serving glasses filled with ice. Garnish each glass with sliced strawberries and lime wedges if desired.
05 - For single servings, combine 90 ml of strawberry limeade mixture with 80 ml cold water over ice.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal flavor, prepare with peak-season strawberries. Sample and adjust sweetness according to the berries and personal taste. Serve chilled or over ice for the most refreshing result.
