02 - 1 block extra firm tofu, cut into bite sized cubes
03 - 2 tablespoons tamari
04 - 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
05 - 1 tablespoon water
06 - 4 teaspoons maple syrup
07 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
# Instructions:
01 - Place a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add in the oil. Add in the tofu and cook until the tofu is golden brown on all sides, about 10-12 minutes.
02 - While the tofu is browning, whisk together the remaining ingredients.
03 - Turn the heat down to low and add in the sauce. Stir the tofu continually until the sauce thickens and glazes the tofu, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from the heat and serve.
# Notes:
01 - This tofu is perfect in rice bowls, salads, wraps, lettuce cups, and tacos.
02 - Make sure to press your tofu well before cutting to remove excess moisture for better browning.
03 - For extra flavor, you can marinate the tofu cubes in a little tamari for 15-30 minutes before cooking.
