01 - 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
02 - 1 cup brown sugar
03 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
04 - 2 eggs
05 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
06 - 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
08 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

→ For the Frosting

09 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
10 - 1 (7 ounce) container marshmallow fluff
11 - 2 cups powdered sugar

→ For Topping

12 - 1/2 cup chopped peanuts

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
02 - In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar with a hand mixer until blended. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract until incorporated. Add in the peanut butter, and continue to beat until combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the salt and flour. Slowly add to your wet mixture and mix until just combined.
04 - Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove the bars from the oven and let cool completely.
05 - To make the frosting, in a large bowl beat together the softened butter and marshmallow fluff. Add in the powdered sugar 1 cup at a time until blended.
06 - Spread the frosting on the cooled bars, and sprinkle chopped peanuts on top.

# Notes:

01 - These bars are inspired by the classic fluffernutter sandwich made with peanut butter and marshmallow cream.
02 - For best results, make sure the bars are completely cooled before adding the frosting.
03 - Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for longer storage.
04 - The frosting will be sticky, which is part of their charm!
