Sweet Swedish butter cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 100 g (3.5 oz) butter, room temperature
02 - 90 g (3.1 oz) (½ cup) white sugar
03 - 175 g (6.1 oz) (1.4 cups) all-purpose flour
04 - 2 tsp vanilla powder or vanilla extract
05 - 1/2 tsp baking powder
06 - 3 tbsp honey or 2 tbsp golden syrup (for toffee flavor)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
02 - Mix the butter and sugar together.
03 - Add all the other ingredients to the butter mixture and blend them well.
04 - Divide the dough into 3 parts.
05 - Shape each part into a roll and place them on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper. The cookies will spread during baking, so leave enough space between the rolls. (I only placed two rolls of the dough on one tray).
06 - Then gently flatten the rolls with your finger.
07 - Bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes (until golden).
08 - Once out of the oven, immediately and carefully cut them diagonally while they are still warm. (It needs to be warm for you to cut it.)
09 - Allow the cookies to cool down, and then enjoy your delicious homemade honey cookies.

# Notes:

01 - These cookies are crispy on the outside and chewy inside.
02 - You can use either honey for a traditional flavor or golden syrup for more of a toffee taste.
03 - Cutting must be done while the cookies are still warm.
