Strawberry Dessert Bruschetta Nutella (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 8 slices sourdough bread, 1/2-inch thick
02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

→ Spread

03 - 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
04 - 1/3 cup Nutella hazelnut spread

→ Toppings

05 - 2 cups strawberries, diced
06 - 1/4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Brush one side of each sourdough slice with melted butter and arrange bread buttered side up on the prepared baking sheet. Toast in the oven for approximately 5 minutes, until golden and crisp.
03 - Remove the toasted bread from the oven and allow it to cool completely on a rack.
04 - Using a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or a hand mixer, blend cream cheese and Nutella until smooth and fully incorporated.
05 - Generously spread the Nutella mixture on the cooled toasts. Evenly scatter diced strawberries over the top and garnish with toasted chopped walnuts.
06 - Plate immediately and serve for optimal freshness and texture.

01 - To intensify the nutty aroma, toast walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring regularly until fragrant.
