Set the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Brush one side of each sourdough slice with melted butter and arrange bread buttered side up on the prepared baking sheet. Toast in the oven for approximately 5 minutes, until golden and crisp.

Remove the toasted bread from the oven and allow it to cool completely on a rack.

Using a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or a hand mixer, blend cream cheese and Nutella until smooth and fully incorporated.

Generously spread the Nutella mixture on the cooled toasts. Evenly scatter diced strawberries over the top and garnish with toasted chopped walnuts.
