Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Liquid Base

01 - 2 cups water
02 - 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)

→ Flavorings

03 - 4 cinnamon sticks or 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
04 - 4 vanilla beans, split and scraped or 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
05 - 2 star anises (optional)

→ Tea

06 - 4 teaspoons loose-leaf black tea or 4 black tea bags (optional)

→ Sweetener

07 - Honey, sugar, or sugar substitute to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Bring water to a boil in a small pot.
02 - Add cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans to the pot, turn off the heat, cover, and allow to steep. If using ground cinnamon and vanilla extract, simply add them to the hot water without steeping. If desired, include star anise with the spices.
03 - Let the mixture steep covered in hot water for about 10 minutes.
04 - If desired, add loose-leaf black tea or tea bags and brew for an additional 3 to 5 minutes according to preferred strength.
05 - Heat milk gently in a separate pot until warm but not boiling.
06 - Strain the cinnamon vanilla infusion into the warmed milk, mixing thoroughly.
07 - Stir in desired sweetener. Serve hot in cups, or allow to cool and pour over ice for a chilled option.

# Notes:

01 - For an extra aromatic brew, use whole spices and beans. Adjust steeping times to intensify flavors.
